Healthier alternative

There are many alternatives to protein powder found right at home. Some being eggs, milk, cheese and meat. Having a well prepared meal with one of these can provide a healthier, and more natural work out with giving you the same effects as protein powder, depending on how much you eat. Another alternatives would be eat foods with protein added, for example protein cereals or granola bars. Choosing the healthier alternative also provides a more natural approach while at the same time giving you a bunch of other nutrients you need.
Another reason why the alternative is better is because you would end up saving money. A large container of powder is around 50 - 60 dollars, but a carton of eggs is like 5 dollars. With a little extra effort of preparing the meal, you will receive healthy and natural protein.

Protein supplements can nowadays be a common household item. With continuing studies protein supplements seem to be an unhealthy approach to bodybuilding. It may cause kidney problems and failures, and used with risk of allergic reactions. Individual effects are usually caused by how a persons digestive system processes it. Although it may have health risks some people decide to take this path because the powders have specialized chemicals which enhance muscle growth
